Lost My Way Online is a personal IT service offering solutions & a variety of services to assist people of any age with technology.
We aim to help explain what the manuals don't & fill in the blanks, so users can stop struggling with their tech & instead get back to doing what matters to them!
From the micro-generation of the 'Xennials', we were lucky to grow up with technology evolving at a rapid pace, we witnessed the dawn of the internet, lived it, dialled-up, waited, hung up & even tried & tested most technology in the last 25+ years... what we realise now is that there are people who, regardless of age, were never 'techy' or understood 'how to make it work', but are now being told more & more to 'access via online' or 'download our App & log in'... instructions are often minimal with online 'guides' confusing or irrelevant!
Out of this frustration of others which we kept witnessing, we were being asked frequently to assist friends, colleagues & even managers with resolving tech issues, troubleshooting technology & the issues it presented on a daily basis.
Following this & with the advent of smartphones, tablets, smart devices, etc., we decided to do something about it to help more people, hence, Lost My Way Online was born, a service for those who need assistance with making sense of the digital world; from setting up a Cloud account for family photos, understanding a new TV, or choosing a new Device for personal use; we know it can be stressful, especially if you are unsure of all the jargon in use & what's necessary to 'just surf the 'net' or even just to achieve simple 'online' tasks which are becoming more & more commonplace.
